I was delighted to discover that Scream Street 7: Invasion of the Normals had made an appearance in The Independent’s 50 Best Winter Reads. The entry read:

Scream Street Makes A Strong Start In The US

I was delighted to receive a link to an article on the Publishers Weekly website recently which featured Scream Street as one of the books/series that had gained a strong foothold in the US market since publication. My agent had told me that Candlewick Press – my American publishers – had already reprinted the first two books a total of three times, but it was incredibly gratifying to see it in print.

Scream Street landlord, Sir Otto Sneer, has shaken off his dislike of technology (second only to his dislike of his residents) and joined Facebook. His latest updates include rants about zombies’ feet, floating skeletons and a demand to know who gave his Hellhounds laxatives…
